One of the surprise addition to the list of Sundance 2014 is the premier of Richard Linklater’s long awaited “Boyhood”. It is one of the highly awaited indie movies of this years.
One of the biggest experimental movies, Boyhood, long been known as Linklater’s 12 Year Project, the film was started shooting in 2002 and completed in the late 2013. “Boyhood” is a groundbreaking cinematic experience covering 12 years in the life of a family involving a divorced couple and their son Mason.
The ground-breaking experiment of shooting this film was done in secrecy as Linklater returned to it every summer. He has waited this long to capture the real upbringing – change realistically, like never before.
It will be featured at Sundance this Sunday.
