Woody Allen in Fading Gigolo: Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara goes real steamy

Along with his latest Blue Jasmine hitting theatres, Woody Allen is trying his acting stint in John Turturro directed Fading Gigolo. He is supposedly playing the role of a pimp.

The recent trailer shows Allen as a failed book seller taking up on a job of a pimp. Turturro, the director cum script writer of the film revealed that it was Allen’s barber who helped to convince Allen for the role. It was a tough job indeed. The 77 year old veteran director Woody Allen rarely takes up acting outside his directorial ventures.

The other caste of the film includes Sharon Stone, Venessa Paradis and Sofia Vergara. The trailer is steamed up by its femme leads – with Stone and Sofie going real raunchy all over.

The film will screen at the Toronto Film Festival this September.
