A dramatic retelling is waiting for a gala filming. Behind-the-scenes international intrigue, cronyism and allegations of vast corruption playing deep-throated for an ogling unfold of exotic world of FIFA – is being made into a film; the story of FIFA.
Starring Tim Roth and Gérard Depardieu – the film depicts the governing body’s 110 year. Tim Roth has been signed to play the controversial Fifa president Sepp Blatter. Depardieu will play Jules Rimet, the longest-serving president in Fifa history. His name also adorns the World Cup trophy.
The project has been provisionally titled F2014 coinciding the 110 year of Fifa and the world cup. It will be shot in Azerbaijan, France and Brazil extensively.
The film is being made by a new French production company Leuviah Films and Thelma Films.
Blatter after a recent meet with Roth told media that, “The casting is done well.” Roth is also directing the movie.
