Alexander Payne, the master movie maker is on for his latest – Nebraska. Mostly all his movies walk cautious on a thin line between cruel satire and subtle emotion. And, Nebraska is no exception.
The plot revolves round an aging, booze-addled father makes the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son in order to claim a million dollar Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize which never existed.
Though many critics after viewing this claiming this movie to be his least essential work mostly after The Descendants – this black and white dramedy is making hues through out.
After screening at major events worldwide with a major premier at Cannes, the film had a latest feature at AFI Fest.
Slated for a US release this weekend – the world waits for a Payne movie whatsoever it may be.
