Kill The Trumpet Player : Ewan McGregor and Zoe Saldanahave joins the team

Don Cheadle is on to debut directorially with Miles Davis biopic “Kill The Trumpet Player”.

Ewan McGregor and Zoe Saldanahave joined the cast along with Don Cheadle himself who is also playing the title role in the film as Davis.

Though the film is based on Davis’ story, Don Cheadle refuses to call it a biopic.” Let’s kill that term, Ok? I hope with this film we can kill the biopic.” he justifies, “This film won’t try to give a broad overview of Davis’s life. The time of his life that was most interesting was the five years when he wasn’t playing, when he was silent.” He promises a short shrift to the man’s life.
