Jason Statum looking out for Susan Cooper?

Remember the mind-blowing Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels or the marvelous Snatch or to be more specific the diligently comic Jason Statham? Yes. He has been busy with the rock-solid actioners all the way or serious stuffs for last few years. But, the root remained in comic. And, may be that’s why, the star is returning to his comic roots with his latest interest – Susan Cooper.

 He joins Melissa McCarthy in the movie which casts her as an unlikely secret agent. Statham will play a spy on the same side. With The Expendables 3 and The Fast & The Furious 7 in his kitty, and in talks with  Susan Cooper – Jason is holding high now.

 Though the whole news is still to be finalized – and the talks are on with director Paul Feig, it seems a decent casting for the film indeed.
