After a critically acclaimed role in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Idris Elba is all set to star in the terrorist thriller Bastille Day.
Written by Andrew Baldwin, Bastille Day tells the story of a young American artist living in Paris and a CIA agent who are tasked with diverting an imminent attack on the city.
The movie is in talks, the producers Vendome CEO Philippe Rousselet and Anonymous’ Steve Golin, Bard Dorros and David Kanter are still to sign a director for the movie. Pierre Morel and Baran bo Odar was being approached for the same.
Elba has just received the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Humanitarian Award this past weekend. And, his next project is Gunman.
