Currently Rhodes is associated with Mumbai Indians as fielding coach and busy with their latest T20 outing. Amid the speculation of his entry to the Bigg Boss house, Rhodes said to media, “”I have seen the occasional episode of Big Boss, and have also seen Big Brother, in different countries around the world. Would love to try my hands at the Indian version of the show, though.I have been coming back to India on regular occasions since 1993, and have not been able to learn much Hindi; how to do Yoga; dance or cook some of the delicious Indian dishes, so I hope being on the show will put me in an environment where I am able to cover a few of those skills!”
“I have cricket coaching commitments until mid-October, so am not sure when they would be able to slot me in to the show!” What about the fact that he doesn’t speak Hindi? He shoots back, “I obviously don’t possess the same assets as Pamela Anderson, but she seemed to do okay! Anyways the universal language of cricket should see me through!” He adds.
“I love travel, adventure, learning to cook, and extending myself in trying circumstances, because I believe the “real you” is revealed only once you are placed under pressure! Last IPL I spent a week snowboarding in Kashmir followed by a week boating in Kerala, and loved the different cultures and cuisine in the North and South of this amazing country, so if there are reality shows that ask a person to perform under pressure, then I would love to be a participant!” Jonty Rhodes said.
