Razzie Awards Announced : Movie 43 “The Worst” of 2013

While the whole world was awaiting for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences celebrate the 2013’s best films, Golden Raspberry Award Foundation celebrated 34th Annual Razzie Awards recognizing achievements on the other part of the spectrum.

Movie 43 was the big “winner” for winning the Razzie for worst picture of 2013. Will and Jaden Smith took home a total of three Razzies for their work in the sci-fi epic After Earth. Jaden won the worst lead actor. Will won the worst supporting actor.

Tyler Perry won the worst actress prize for his portrayal of the title matriarch in A Madea Christmas. Kim Kardashian won the worst supporting actor female for her role in Tyler Perry’s Temptation. The Lone Ranger was selected as the worst sequel of the year.

Created in 1980 by John Wilson, The Razzies are big hit throughout the world. the prizes are based on online votes from Golden Raspberry Award Foundation members and RottenTomatoes.com users.
