A perfect end to a farewell to the much-anticipated and hyped movie of recent time the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, a second of two full-length parts of the final adventure in the successful Harry Potter film series which starts 10 years ago and ends with a satisfying note. Harry Potter, now wiser and older, must consider the unavoidable situation of death and understand the value of true friendship. This final instalment of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -2’ is the shortest of all 8 Harry Potter films and ends with a worthy climax.
The movie starts where the last one ends. In the epic finale saw the war between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world in supreme fight. There is lots of drama, action, terror, danger, death, special effects and loads of magic as the world’s three most loved fictional characters Harry, Ron and Hermoine meet their final destiny. Harry Potter and his friends try to finish their tasks, leading upto the final rendezvous at Hogwarts and finally ends-up in climactic face-off with Lord Voldemort.
The trio continue searching Voldemort’s remaining Horcruxes, which they need to destroy amid fear of Dark Lord’s immortality. Voldemort who stole the deathstick of Professor Dumbledore from the tomb has become unbeatable. They found the Horcrux after breaking into a vault at Gringotts, and made a thrilling escape riding on the back of a fire-breathing dragon. After that the action shifted to Hogwarts, where the mood is exceptionally serious after Death Eaters and Dementors become visible outside campus walls.
The popularity of Harry Potter movies remain in the characters specially the wizards in all Harry Potter movies who are easily recognized. They have ordinary habits, prejudices, quirks and fears which made this fantastical world familiar. Over time the special effects have become more powerful yet continue to bring more intense and emotion in story’s integration.
As Potter Daniel Radcliffe generate one of the most credible young heroes of cinema — both emotional and courageous – and Ralph Fiennes lends a dignity and a terror to his unrestrained portrayal of evil. Equally tempting are Potter’s faithful lieutenants: geeky Ron Weasly aka Rupert Grint and super-smart Hermione Granger (Emma Watson).
At the end you realize many a times, the film touches your heart and fills your eyes with a strange moist… something that rarely happened.
