The fashion icons of Bollywood, the Kapoor cousins are all set to star together in a film together directed by none other than Sonam’s sister, Rhea. What’s more? This is going to be a chick-flick! Yes, you read it right.
Tentatively titled, Veeray Di Shaadi, this movie will see two of the biggest names in the fashion and bollywood industry in an out and out girl drama.
Initially, Katrina Kaif was said to be seen sharing the screen with Sonam, but a source close to the project revealed that Katrina was never formally offered the film. There were only initial talks but it never materialized. When asked if she has signed the project, Kareena said she is thinking about it. Given that the actress has not signed anything since Udta Punjab, we are hopeful that she will give the project a green signal for her side.
Swara Bhaskar is said to play the third friend. As for the fourth friend, Shikha Talsania is being finalized by the makers. While Sonam and Kareena will be seen playing the lead, Swara and Shikha will be the supporting leads.
Rhea is looking forward to start shooting in July this year. Finally, an all-girl movie in Bollywood! The excitement is indeed real.
