Aamir Khan comes only once, but leaves an indelible impression on the minds of the audiences which last till his next astounding venture arrives. Not to break this ritual, Aamir has already started working hard on his upcoming ‘ferocious’ outing ‘Dangal’. While much buzz is hovering over the movie, more excitement is about Amir`s brand-new look, that of a wrestler.
Mr Perfectionist is the one who never leaves any stone unturned; in accordance with that he has undergone a palpable physical transition gaining the extra weight of 20 kilograms. Not only to attain the beefy look, but also to achieve the inner strength of a wrestler, Amir has been undergoing a vigorous workout session.
Due to this, Amir was spotted limping at a recent event, as the role demands him to work more on his lower body. When asked about this, his spokesperson said, “Aamir works out four days a week, giving time in between for his muscles to relax.”
Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Dangal’ is to picturize Amir as a 55 year old wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, playing a father to the medalist wrestler Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. Set in the backdrop of conservative Haryana community, ‘Dangal’ narrates the story of a father-daughter bond and how a father trains his daughters to win the remarkable honors, teaches them to fight against the orthodox society, and makes them ready to overcome tough challenges.
Geeta Phogat is the first woman wrestler of India who was taught the initial lessons of wrestling by her father, and thereafter won numerous prizes, including the bronze medal at Summer Olympics (2012) and gold at the most coveted Commonwealth Games in the 55 kg free-style category.
The two actresses who will play the role of his daughters haven’t been finalized yet, however, many speculations are rising about the casting reporting that Tapsee Pannu, Akshara Hassan and Kangana Ranaut have been signed, but Aamir has asked not to believe any rumors until any solid news comes out.
The movie is highly anticipated, with everyone waiting for the cast to be revealed soon. But, it is for sure that ‘Dangal’ will also mark a golden point in Aamir`s acting career, as all his other films do!
