Veteran Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao passes away

Legendary Telugu actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad early on Wednesday morning. He was 91.

Popularly known as ANR, the actor was diagnosed with cancer last year. He is survived by three daughters and two sons including popular actor Nagarjuna.

He was acted in 256 films. Some of his hit movies includes Devadasu, Laila Majnu, Anarkali, Premabhishekham, Prema Nagar and Megha Sandesham. He was awarded Padma Bhushan in 1988.
