Superstar Rajinikanth To Donate 25 Lakh For Renovating Old School

The Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth who studied in the Gavipuram Government Kannada Model Primary school from 1954 to 1959, is going to give a donation of Rs 25 lakh for renovating the school which is in distress condition.

The 3,500 square feet walls of the school building is in danger condition and may collapse anytime. There is no water tap and electricity. Over 300 children studied here at own risk.

The Karnataka State Rajiniji Seva Samithi has now come forward to save Rajinijikanth’s school. “We have been talking to the authorities and raising our concern about the deplorable condition of the school for two years now. The walls might collapse any minute. But no one is paying heed to our pleas. We celebrate Rajini’s birthday every year at this school. The superstar’s Rs 25-lakh donation will be used to procure facilities like computers and library for the school ” Samithi president Rajani Murgan G expressed their vision.
