Grammy-winning pop singer Whitney Houston (48) is found dead!
The legendary singer and actress is found dead on Saturday at 3:55 p.m. at a Beverly Hills Hotel in California. Houston’s bodyguard found her dead body. According to Beverly Hills Police the cause of Houston’s death still unknown and is being investigated.
Whitney Houston was born on August 9, 1963 in Newark, New Jersey. Houston, who got fame very early, was one of the most talented artists of her generation. In her successful career Whitney Houston had won 6 Grammy Awards, 2 Emmy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards and 22 American Music Awards. However she was in constant news not only for her talent but for her turbulent personal life too. She was struggling due to drug usage and scandal over the years.
Some of Houston’s hit numbers are “Saving All My Love for You”, “How Will I Know”, “Greatest Love of All”, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”, “Didn’t We Almost Have It All”, “So Emotional” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go”.
Houston’s first movie was The Bodyguard in 1992, which became a smashing hit. Waiting to Exhale and The Preacher’s Wife, were some of her memorable films.
Ironically Houston died on the eve of the 54th annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and she was supposed to at the event.
