Pistorius is now facing murder trial of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day in his house. Reeva Steenkamp was shot four times.
According to a local news papers, Police found a bloodied cricket bat at the Pretoria house and they are now investigating the possibility of further assault on Steenkamp before her murder.
“The suspicion is that the first shot, in the bedroom, hit her in the hip. She then ran and hid herself in the toilet… He fired three more shots,” the police source told independent City Press newspaper.
Pistorius’ family however denies all the charges. The family has said, Pistorius is “numb with shock as well as grief” over his girlfriend’s death.
