President Hugo Chavez’s body will not be cremated but to be embalmed and put on exhibit forever at a museum in Venezuela.
Acting President Nicolas Maduro said Hugo Chavez will be embalmed “like Ho Chi Minh, Lenin and Mao” and kept in a glass casket to be seen “for eternity” in a military museum.
“It has been decided that the body of the comandante will be embalmed so that it remains eternally on view for the people at the museum,” Maduro said on national TV on Thursday.
Hugo Chavez (58) passed away on Tuesday after a two-year battle with cancer.
