Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan underwent a successful brain surgery on Sunday at Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital to remove a clot that developed from “head injuries” suffered during shooting of director Siddharth Anand’s ‘Bang Bang’.
The 39-year-old Bollywood actor is now stable and doing fine.
“Thank you for all your love and concern. Hrithik has come out of the surgery stronger than ever before,” actor’s wife Sussanne said in a statement.
Before going for surgery, Hrithik had tweeted, “Minor brain surgery to remove blood clot” Should be rock n rolling by evening! U guys have a great day too! Supersonic!!”
“He was shooting for ‘Bang Bang’ in Phuket, Bangkok. He was doing a stunt where he had to put a jet on his feet and go 30 feet high in the sky and then dive down in the water Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan told reporters.
Rakesh Roshan added that although the actor hit his head two months back but only on Friday the actor felt uncomfortable and after a CT scan and an MRI revealed that he was suffering from subacute subdural haematoma. He was admitted on Saturday at Hinduja Healthcare in Khar.
Hrithik just finished shooting of much-awaited ‘Krrish 3’.
