George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin ready to take vow

Hollywood’s one of the most eligible bachelor and Oscar winning actor George Clooney is geared up to take vows with his ladylove Amal Alamuddin in Venice on this weekend.

The couple was joined by the family and friends on Friday’s rehearsal dinner on a private island in Venice.

The star-studded wedding will be attended by many Hollywood leading names including Matt Damon, Rande Gerber, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Bono, and Andrea Bocelli. Around 150 guests are expected to attend the gala wedding ceremony which kicked off on Friday.

The 36-year-old reputed British-Lebanese human rights lawyer, Alamuddin, met the 53-year-old Clooney last year. They announced their engagement five months back.

After his bitter divorce with actress Talia Balsam in 1993, Clooney, vowed to never walk  down the aisle. He even had put a bet of $100,000 with actress Michelle Pfeiffer that he would never marry again. So when Clooney announced his engagement it raised huge surprise among his world-wide fans.
