Amitabh Bachchan’s Surgery Went Successful

Amitabh Bachchan’s abdominal surgery went successful. He is stable now.

Abhishek Bachchan twitted about his father’s health, “Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. The surgery went off well and dad is now in the room resting.”

Big B has been suffering from abdominal pain since his intestinal injury on the set of 1982 film “Coolie”. Few days back he had come to the hospital due to abdominal pain. Doctors advised him for a minor operation.

Amitabh Bachchan himself tweeted on Saturday after his surgery, “Back ..!! Thank you for your prayers.. your love and wishes never fail..indebted for life, one that I shall never be able to pay back. Took almost 5 hrs on the OT, but could feel the concern and wishes of the TwFmXt every minute .. you all are incredible .. thank you. Took long because 2 surgeries had to be done on either side..yes there is pain, but nothing good in life ever achieved without it.”
