He may already have made his presence felt on the small screen with Satyamev Jayate, but Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood has never been a part of a television serial as big as this one.
But that might as well change, because according to the latest news we are hearing, he is in talks with Anil Kapoor regarding his hit TV serial, 24.
The show is said to return to the small screen with season 2. The dates, however, have not been confirmed yet. As per a source, Aamir will be seen alongside Anil Kapoor for the launch of the serial in the first week of June.
But that is not the end of their association. Anil is keen on having Aamir for a cameo on the show.
“Talks are on and Aamir has shown interest, but the perfectionist that he is, he will thoroughly review each aspect before making a commitment. If time permits and he takes it up, the show will become even bigger,” says the source.
Anil has managed to keep the developments surrounding 24 extremely confidential, but has already shared quite a few things with Aamir. Aamir was later heard praising him and the serial.
If this does happen, the fans of the show and the actor alike, will be in for a treat.
