After an overtly successful two TV series “Battlestar Galactica” is now going to big screen. Universal is ramping up a movie version of this popular sci-fi franchise. The film is supposed to be developed as a complete re-imagining of the story.
Jack Paglen, famous for Transcedence, has signed up for the screenplay. Glen Larson, the creator of the original series is producing the same.
The Glalactica ran two series. The first ran during 1978-79 season and was centered on humans engaged in a lengthy war against a cybernetic race. In 2003, a reimagined “Battlestar Galactica” miniseries was aired.
After few speculations about a movie, Finally Universal came up with a full length one.
