- All About Launches And First Looks:
‘Welcome’ was one hilarious movie which entertained a huge sect of audience. Quite obviously, it’s sequel Welcome 2 is also going to come with a rib-tickling content, it’s evidence being the recently launched trailer. Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal continue the league, while John Abraham replaces Akshay Kumar, with new entrants being Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Shruti Haasan. Not one second of the trailer seems dull and makes you laugh till the fullest. Of course, the trailer is receiving tremendous response on You Tube. Now, one needs to wait for 4th September to have full time fun and laugh until your stomach aches.
Nikhil Advani’s directorial venture and Salman Khan, Subhash Ghai’s production, the remake of ‘Hero’ stars Sooraj Pancholi, whose first look was released recently. It shows ‘Rebel Loves Freedom’ inked on Sooraj’s fingers. The old ‘Hero’ was a story of eternal romance, let us see upto what extent this new version succeeds in making an impression.
- Films Getting Into Legal Trouble:
Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is into legal mess because of two reasons. Firstly, few religious groups protested against the title of the film claiming that it is a mix of Hindu Muslim religion. Even a legal notice was sent, but they do not seem to bother Salman at all. He says, “Legal notice doesn’t bother me. I don’t think any religious group will do like this. The basic rule of any religion is to follow your religion and respect other person’s religion. If you go to see in Bandra or in any part of Mumbai during Ganesh Chaturthi, you will find one maulana sitting at a Ganesh visarjan. We are in different league altogether, I don’t think today any religious group can speak like this on any religion. Islam means peace. Do you even think that any religious group will be against Hindu-Muslim living as bhai-bhai.” The second reason is one of its Qawwali song, Bhar Do Jholi. It has got into a copyright controversy as original composers of this song claim that the song was added to the film without their consent. Plus, the portrayal of the song is quite disturbing. With release just a week away, let us see what film platoon does to get out of this before July 17.
One more film to hurt the religious sentiments is Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat’s Bangistan which showcases the concept of Hindu-Muslim unity. The film won’t hit the theatres without receiving a permission from religious experts.
- Karan Books Next Diwali
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is Karan Johar’s multi-starrer and much anticipated films having Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in pivotal roles. The film deals with deep meaning of relationships, and enrooting love. KJo has announced that the film will release on Diwali 2016. But, the twist is that it clashes with Ajay Devgn’s major project Shivaay. It is to be seen if either of them backs out or decide to have a challenging war at box office next year!
