Vishwaroopam 2: Prasoon Joshi roped in as the lyricist

After the success of the Tamil spy-thriller Vishwaroopam, Kamal Hassan has almost completed the sequel of the franchise. As he claimed 40 percent of the sequel has been shot during the shooting of the previous only. And, this time, the film will have a simultaneous release in Hindi as well.

And, the south superstar has roped in Prasoon Joshi for penning down the lyrics in Hindi. After much appreciation for his “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” lyrics – it will be a great teaming up with the famous lyricist. Along with the main crew that Hassan retained – he has also added Waheeda Rahman and Anant Mahadevan.

To make it slicker and racier – Kamal Hassan said he would wrap up the sequel within two hours whereas the earlier one was of 2 hours 28 minutes long. This time the film is mostly shot in India unlike USA as in the first one.

Along with Hassan, the cast includes Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose. the film is being co-produced by Balaji Films also along with Kamal Hassan.

The film is slated for a end-November release in India.
