Shruti Haasan is upbeat with “Ramaiya Vastavaiya”

In her latest interview with TOI, Shruti Haasan confessed that she does not take any professional advice from her parents. Although being born into a well-known filmy family, Shruti did not able to make her presence felt in Bollywood yet. However in Southern industry she has been doing  great job.  Kamal Hasaan and Sarika’s daughter is looking up to her upcoming Hindi romantic film Ramaiya Vastavaiya. Her popularity is also increasing.

When TOI asked about her ‘come back’ to bollywod after a gap of 2 years, Strut said, ‘I was busy in South fulfilling my commitments. I had got offers in Bollywood, but it was about playing interesting characters and I am happy to be back. My commitment even in Bollywood has been 100% to every film. Now I will concentrate on Bollywood films now.”

In Prabhu Deva’s next movie Ramaiya Vastavaiya Shruti is pairing opposite debutant Girish Kumar.

“It’s a commercial film and who better to pick than Prabhu Deva. He is the best for commercial genre. He was clear and it makes it very easy for the actor be it dialogues, body language,” Shruti said.

Shruti Hassan also said she doesn’t take advice from her family.

“I take my own decisions and I am kind of independent person. I don’t take advice from family or anyone. I choose films because I want to play the part in the movie. I have never felt the pressure from my family,” Shruti added.
