Shruti Haasan attacked at her Mumbai residence

Actress Shruti Haasan, the daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika has been reportedly attacked by an alleged stalker at her Bandra residence this morning.

The incident took place around 9:30 am today when the 27-year-old actress opened the door after hearing the doorbell and the man tried to barge in. But the actress closed the door before any harm caused.

“The man wanted to know from her why she was not recognising him and not talking to him. Shruti did not entertain the man, saying she did not know him, but the man tried to barge into her house. Shruti immediately banged the door,” a source told PTI.

Reportedly the man has been following her since the shooting for ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ and appeared on her sets regularly.

“At the moment, she is very stressed and for her safety, she has moved to her friend’s place,” the source added.

Shruti may file the FIR tomorrow.
