Shashank Udapurkar to act in Biopic of Anna Hazare

Playing the protagonist in a biopic requires actors to get into the skin of the character for repeatability sake.  The recent one to join the bandwagon is Shashank Udapurkar, who will not only direct but also exhibit his acting prowess in the film “ANNA”

Shashank Udapurkar- “Yes, i will be essaying the role of Anna in the film. Since its sensitive subject, it’s a responsibility on my shoulders to portray his struggles perfectly on the celluloid. The movie is for the masses, I have tried to keep the story and acting real despite creative liberty. We have tried to get his life together in a span of two to three hours”
