ABCD 2 has been much in the news these days due to its blockbuster prequel and unique concept. But this time it was due to a mishap that occurred recently on their sets. Apparently, the burning flames enveloped the sets of the upcoming Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ABCD, on Thursday night, during the ongoing shooting.
The sequel to Remo D`souza`s 2013 dance-oriented-hit ABCD, its shootings were going in full swing when the sets suddenly caught fire. The incident took place at Film City, Goregaon. As the reports claim, one of the bulbs blasted when the butter paper stuck on it, further leading to a short circuit.
At the spot, the platoon was rehearsing for a dance sequence with 600 performers. Fortunately, no one was injured on the sets and with the instant help of the fire brigade, everyone was evacuated safely.
But this accident doesn`t seem to dampen the zeal for dancing of any of the team members. With their catchphrase fixed, WE WON`T STOP DANCING, Varun, Shraddha and Lauren Gottlieb opted for twitter to express their willingness to work.
As tweeted by Varun Dhawan, “There was a fire and our set got burnt down. We safely evacuated 600 people and we will be back to work tomorrow. WE WONT STOP DANCING. #abcd2.”
Shraddha, too, informed that, “Yes sadly there was a fire on set today but everything is fine & everyone is safe! Back to shoot tomorrow. We WONT stop dancing!!! #ABCD2”
The skillful dancer-actress Lauren also said on Friday, “”Yesterday there was a fire on set w/ 600 people rushing to safety. Everyone’s ok, thank god. Today we are back! WE WONT STOP DANCING! #ABCD2″
