‘Satyagraha’ will be screened in South Africa

Director Prakash Jha’s upcoming political thriller ‘Satyagraha – Democracy Under Fire’ will be screened in South Africa.

According to some newspapers, the filmmakers of Satyagraha are planning for South Africa screening in August due to Satyagraha’s “inherent Mahatma Gandhi connection”.  The film is scheduled to be released on August 15, 2013.

Satyagraha – Democracy Under Fire is directed by Prakash Jha and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Prakash Jha. The movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao in the lead role. Most part of the film has been shot in Bhopal.

Satyagraha is based on current political situations in India and it is a remake of the 2011 Tamil hit film Ko.
