The deep-in-love couple of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were said to have finally announced their wedding plans. Both of them have always kept mum about their personal lives and refused to open about their relationship in front of media. But, just two days ago, in an interview to a regional newspaper named Anandabazar Patrika, the 33 year old actor was quoted saying, “This year both of us are extremely busy, so there won’t be any time for the marriage. We have planned to tie the knot by the end of next year. Both of us have agreed on that.” They always wanted to avoid the speculations made by gossipmongers. Talking more about this, he said, “Both of us are sure about our relationship and if we don’t open about it now, it would be showing disrespect to the relationship. I am 33 now. And it is time I have my family. Even Katrina wants that. I have grown up in a family where film is everything. So, I know the importance of gossip and my funda is simple. When there is gossip, try not to react and it is advisable not to think too much about yourself.” Also, after this, they were spotted going to the screening of Bombay Velvet together, which many called a secret ‘movie’ date.
But today a new development came out which denied all the reports of Ranbir marrying Katrina by the end of 2016. Ranbir said something very surprising which disappointed his fans, as he cleared all the haze of speculations saying he was misquoted and that he never confirmed his wedding plans. It came as a shock, because the duo is not yet ready to say anything more about their secret relationship even when everything is clearly visible. It seems that they need some more time for preparations before they make their final announcement; while, some even said that it was a publicity stunt to create a buzz just before the film`s release.
Howbeit, on film front, Ranbir and Katrina will be seen together in their film Jagga Jasoos which is to release next year.
