Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s next movie “Bombay Velvet” opposite Anushka Sharma.
Bombay Velvet is Anurag Kashyap’s dream project and he approached Aamir Khan for the protagonist role. When Aamir declined, it was Ranbir who agreed to do this periodic movie.
Set on sixties Mumbai, the movie is a tale of a historian and Professor of History at Princeton University, Gyan Prakash which to be played by Ranbir.
Shooting of the movie will start from October this year.
