Ashim Ahluwalia’s ‘Miss Lovely’ is finally releasing in India. The release will be done by the start-up theatrical distributor Easel Films and Eagle Movies in January.
“We hope to release across 200-300 screens,” distribution executive Abhishek Gautam was quoted as saying.
The hard-hitting gritty movie revolves around the lower depths of Bombay’s “C” grade film industry. The plot involves two brothers producing sleazy horror movies in mid-80s in India.
The movie is being screened at Cannes Film Festival, 2012.
