Katrina Kaif Will Be the Leading Lady In Dhoom 3

The selection was made jointly by Writer-Director Victor and producer Aditya Chopra. In Dhoom 3 Aamir Khan will play the role of anti-hero. Both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali respectively.

“After almost a year of searching for a new face for ‘Dhoom: 3’, we were still unable to find the perfect debutante to play the lead role. We even reached out to international talent but were still unable to find someone who stood out,” said director Victor.

“She is someone who we all know will bring tremendous enthusiasm and commitment to the film. The first time pairing of Aamir with Katrina will also certainly add value,” he added.

Katrina’s last two movies “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” became smashing hits. The shooting of Dhoom 3 will begin towards the end of this year.
“Dhoom: 3” is scheduled for a 2012 Christmas release.
