When it comes to the launching of star kids, cine-buffs get excited and eagerly wait to see them on the silver screen. Same goes for Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshavardhan, who is going to make his Bollywood debut through Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Mirzya’.
Harshavardhan has already been receiving rave reviews after the release of Mirzya’s promotional trailer last month. It is a love drama set against the backdrop of rural Rajasthan. Kapoor is being appreciated for sporting quite an unconventional, raw look.
When the trailer for Harshavardhan’s first film has created such a great deal of buzz, he is now all set for his second Bollywood venture titled ‘Bhavesh Joshi’. Produced by Phantom Films, it is all about a Gujarati boy possessing extraordinary powers and how he uses them to save common people facing troubles. Director Vikramaditya Motwane had first announced this film in 2013, back when Imran Khan was initially going to play the lead. He was later replaced by Siddharth Malhotra; but in the end, it was Harshavardhan who bagged the role!
Kapoor will start shooting for Bhavesh Joshi today and regarding this, he shared on a micro-blogging site, “It’s #bhaveshjoshi shoot day ladies and gents#vikramadityamotwane passion project finally comes to life, a huge day for us @FuhSePhantom.” It is being speculated that Radhika Apte has been roped in to play the leading lady and will share an equal screen space alongside Kapoor.
It is evident that Harshavardhan has highly experimented with his look in Mirzya. It is being said that for Bhavesh Joshi, he was asked to lose around 11 kgs and the 25-year old actor has undergone serious work-out sessions to fit into the skin of his character.
Well, it seems that there is much more we can expect from this Bollywood’s newbie as he has already set the expectations high. While Mirzya is geared up to hit the screen on 7th October 2016, Bhavesh Joshi’s release date has not been announced yet.
