Fashions favorite, Masaba Gupta and beau Madhu Mantena, threw a lavish reception for their industry friends and it was a night full of designer outfits and classy suits. The wedding was a 3 day affair which saw the mehendi ceremony, hosted at Masaba’s residence, while the sangeet and the reception were organised at a five-star hotel in sobo.
Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt, followed by Dolly Thakore, were among the first few to arrive. As the night went on, the reception saw many Bollywood divas and hunks flooring in, dressed to kill.
The much in love bride, wore a monochrome Ananika Khanna lehenga with a heavy kundan choker. The designer, however, took to instagram to criticize her own wedding outfit. Not quite frequently do we see a bride openly criticizing her dream wedding dress, do we?
The tinsel towners put their best forward, and the result was lietrally beautiful. White seemed to be the new black for the night.
Dressed in a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, Alia Bhatt looked like a vision in white. Keeping her company were her childhood besties, Anushka and Akansha Ranjan.
Bollywood’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor looked regal in a white Anamika Khanna lehenga with sister Rhea Kapoor twining in another white Anamika Khanna lehenga. Dressed in white from head to toe, they opted for open hairdo and natural makeup.
The newly married couple Shahid and Mira Kapoor seem to be taking B-town by a storm. They arrived at the venue hand in hand. Drapped in a golden net Arpita Mehta sari. Pairing the look with jewelry by Anmol Jewellers, she looked absolutely elegant.
The queen, Kangana Ranaut looked stunning in a white net saree with a heavy blouse. Adding a pop of color with her red lipstick, she reminded us why she is crowned as the Queen.
The newcomers, Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi also arrived together. Fashions new baby, Athiya did not disappoint, dressing in a cream-white peplum top and lehenga by Rohit Bal. She left her waves open and paired the outfit with a potli bag. A total stunner I must say.
Standing out in the parade of white outfits were Neha Dhupia and Aditi Rao Hydari. Neha opted for a midnight blue outfit by upcoming designer Natasha J. Though the Amrapali choker looked a bit too stuffy, the makeup completed the look and made it work for her.
Aditi Rao Hydari was seen at her fashionable best. She went with a embroidered black Surendri by Yogesh Chaudhary. With her hair tied back, ethic earnings by Mahesh Notandass and a pop of bright red lip color, boy did she look ravishing!
Arriving with her husband Sahil Sangha, Dia Mirza chose to go with a festive pink Sabyasachi. Wearing her hair back, she completed the look with gold-toned jewelry. The easy and elegance with which she carried herself and that outfit, I think it comes to her naturally.
Also present at the party were, Chetan Bhagat, Ritesh Deshmukh, cricketer Zaheer Khan, Vivek Oberoi with wife Priyanka, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl among others. The party went on till late and everyone seemed to have had a great time.
