Biggies of the Year:
Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment’s Raees is an upcoming action thriller of 2017 staring Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. SRK’s look in the film has been the talk of the town and is receiving immense applauds! Raees trailer soon after its release had garnered humongous response and the audiences can’t wait to experience the film in the theaters. What’s interesting is that the films teaser which had released last year, still rings in a fresh recall amongst the consumers which proves that this film has just nailed it right in terms of content! The film is directed by national award winner Rahul Dholakia and is set to release on 25th January 2017!
NGE’s Rangoon is an imminent romance drama set against the war backdrop. Rangoon marks the first time coming together of Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bharadwaj. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, Rangoon is set to hit theatres on 23rd February.
Disney’s Jagga Jasoos has the team of Barfi coming together. Produced by Disney, directed by Anurag Basu with Ranbir playing male lead, the entire team of Barfi has joined hands once again. The pairing of Ranbir and Katrina Kaif has added tremendous 
excitement. The film’s trailer that has enchanted children extensively is a pure adventure thrill! Coming on the same weekend as The Jungle Book, Jagga Jasoos releases on 7th April 2017!
Prabhas’s Bahubali 2 the much much awaited movie of 2017 is a cult classic and has been established as indeed the most awaited films of next year! It’s directed by SS Rajamouli, one of the most successful directors. Major curiosities being an answer to the question as to why did Kattapa kill Bahubali has made the audiences restless for the sequel to release! The movie is all set to release on 28th April 2017.
Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic is one of the most looked forward film as Rajkumar Hirani comes with his directorial after PK which released 3 years ago. Ranbir Kapoor who is playing Dutt in the film has already started his prep and is leaving to stone unturned to do justice to Sanjay Dutt! Dutt marks Bollywood’s first personality who will have a biopic made on him. The film is set to be a Christmas release of next year 2017.

xXx: Return of Xander Cage Deepika Padukone’s debut film in the Hollywood film has been high on noise! The actress will be seen in a new action packed avatar romancing Vin Diesel in one of the most popular franchise. The film will hit theaters in the month of January 2017.
Sunshine Pictures Commando 2 which is sequel to 2013 hit Commando starring Vidyut Jamwal is being directed by Deven Bhojani and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Sunshine Pictures. The movie is high on action and is surely going to double the dose of action delivered in its prequel. The film is set to release on 3rd March 2017.
Reload a 2017 action flick directed by Raj, DK is being produced by Fox Star Studios. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. Both are coming together for the very first time on the celluloid and the pairing is something that is set to attract more audiences! The movie will certainly be high on action and is slated to release on 25th August 2017.
Excel Entertainemnt’s Fukrey 2 The prequel of the film produced by Excel Entertainment and directed by Mrigdeep Lamba that lead on to become a sleeper hit is by far the most awaited films of next year! The iconic characters that consist of Hunny played by Pulkit Samrat, Choocha played by Varun Sharma, Bholi Punjaban played by Richa Chadda are the most loved characters and have become audience’s favorite! The starcast have kick started the shoot of the sequel which would release in 2017.
NGE’s Judwa 2 is an upcoming sequel for the 1997 hit Judwa is an action-comedy film directed by David Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Taspsee Pannu are playing the lead roles. Varun Dhawan will be seen playing a double role in the movie. The movie is set to release on 29th September 2017.
Interesting Films:
Trapped is an upcoming survival Drama and stars Rajkumar Rao in the lead role. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane the film had created waves during its screening at the film festivals wherein it received standing ovation. Rajkumar Rao’s performance has been immensely applauded. Produced by Phantom Films, the film is set to hit silver screens on 17th March 2017.
Plan C’s Naam Shabana is a forthcoming action thriller movie directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey. The film marks to be Hindi cinema’s first Spin Off in the making, a concept that is widely explored in the west. A Spin off from one of the characters from Baby (directed by Neeraj Pandey) will also have cameos played by all the actors who had worked in Baby. With Taapsee Pannu playing the lead role, the film is slated to release on 31st March 2017.
Poorna Rahul Bose is all set to bring the real-life story of 13-year-old Poorna, the youngest girl in the world to scale the Mount Everest, with his first production and second directorial. Raul Bose returns to direction 15 years after ‘Everybody Says I’m Fine’ for this film! Aditi Inamdar, a Telangana girl from another impoverished family, has been chosen after auditioned 109 girls, including a few tribals to bring Poorna’s superhuman feat to screen. Rahul has bought the rights from Poorna’s father and Dr RS Praveen Kumar. The film is slated to release on 31st March 2017
Bareilly Ki Barfi which is set in the heartland of Lucknow marks third film of Junglee Pictures!The movie features Ayushmann Khurrana as an owner of a printing press, Rajkummar Rao as an author and Kriti Sanon as a modern girl based out of UP. The cast that has been locked for the film draws keen attention towards the film, also the first time pairing of Ayushmann and Kriti can add onto the excitement of the audiences. The film is rooted in the subculture of the north Indian city Bareilly. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and produced by Junglee Pictures, BR Studios, the film is slated to release on 21st July 2017.
Sony Pictures’s Mubarakan starring the real life uncle-nephew Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor is a Romantic Comedy directed by Anees Bazmee will release on July 28, 2017. What’s exciting is that the Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will be playing their 
real life chemistry in reel as well! Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty will be playing the leads. Mubarakan has been creating all the right noise since its announcement and now it kick started its first schedule in
Chandigarh.
Secret Superstar marks to be the next film of Aamir Khan! This year saw the teaser of debutant Advait Chandan’s film Secret Superstar. The film that is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Zee Studios revolves around the life of a child, who aspires to be a singer and has Aamir Khan playing the role of a music mentor. Child actress Zaira Wasim who was also featured in Dangal will be seen playing one of the pivotal roles. Secret Superstar is slated for an August 4, 2017
