Book Summary:

That’s The Way We Met … Kya Life Hogi Set? is a sequel of author Sudeep Nagarkar’s debut novel ‘Few Things Left Unsaid’. This novel is a continuation of the love story of Aditya, and Riya, as they fall in love, deeper. In the prequel, the couple underwent a break-up, and came back together, as they realized how endless their love was. In the first chapter, Aditya has a bad dream, in which Riya was seriously unwell, and admitted in a hospital. He wakes up, and rushes immediately to the hospital to find out that there was no such patient admitted. After that, Aditya lands up at Riya’s house, and was welcomed by her mother, who informed him that all was well with Riya.

Mohit, who is Aditya’s buddy, ends up falling in love with Riya’s good friend, Sonam. Following that, the two couples begin to hang out together, and decide to go on a trip up north India. The two couples are from Mumbai, and find Delhi, and Manali a welcome change from the hustle, and bustle of Mumbai city, along with their busy work schedules. This caused them to spend more time with each other, resulting in a deeper bond.

During their time at Delhi, Mohit gets to meet Sonam’s parents. However, there is a sudden twist in the story with the passing away of Riya’s father. This leaves her relationship with Aditya dangling on a string, as she finds herself in a soup due to a terrible financial situation. However, her father’s friend offered to bring them out of their financial distress by asking her to marry his son. Now comes another set of pressures on Aditya, and Riya’s relationship. What happens next? Read on to find out.
All in all, the plot of this novel, That’s The Way We Met … Kya Life Hogi Set?, is highly engrossing, due to the sudden twists in the story.
