Amitabh Bachchan’s Zanjeer To Be Remade By Apoorva Lakhia

Director Apoorva Lakhia will start shooting for remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Zanjeer’ from this April.

The 1973 blockbuster Zanjeer was the first major hit of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. It was the most crucial film in Amitabh’s career. He had received an eternal title of ‘angry young man’ from this film.

Recently Lakhia told reporters, “My film starts from April 20 so I am going to start working on it, it is the remake of ‘Zanjeer’ and next week I am going to shoot for an ad in Thailand.”

Telegu superstar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja will play Amitabh’s role in this remake.  Ram Charan’s latest Telegu film ‘Magadheera’ is a smashing hit.
