Samajwadi Party Expels Shahid Siddiqui For Interviewing Narendra Modi

Samajwadi Party has expelled Shahid Siddiqui for interviewing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for an Urdu weekly newspaper.

In that interviewed Narendra Modi talked for the first time on the 2002 Gujarat riots issue and he said he was ready to be hanged if he was proven guilty.

Samajwadi party General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav informed media that Siddiqui is no more a party member after today. He said, “Shahid Siddiqui is not a member of the SP. He left the party a long time back and later joined the Lok Dal. He can go to Modi if he wants to.”

SP also issued a new guideline. Except the party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and party spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary no other SP member will talk on public from now onwards.
