Nissan Unveils New Note

Nissan Motor Company, Japan’s second largest auto manufacturer, has unveiled new compact car, the New Nissan Note. Nissan Note is set to give competition to rivals Toyota and Honda compact cars.

According to Nissan’s CEO Toshiyuki Shiga, the company aims to sell 350,000Notes annually. Nissan will start selling the Note in Japan in September. However rest of the world will have to wait till next year to get Note.

The U.S. version of Note, ‘the Versa’, will go into production next year in Mexico. Nissan yet to reveal the price of the New Note.

Nissan has sold around 940,000 first-generation Note model since 2005 globally.
