After signing ‘Zanjeer’ for hefty 9 crore, Priyanka Chopra becomes the highest paid actress in Bollywood at present.

Zanjeer 2012 will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia and will start the shooting very soon. Zanjeer was released on 1973 and considered to be Amitabh Bachchan’s first major hit.

Other female lead actress in the Bollywood like Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone get paid something between 2.5 to 4 crore. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got 5.5 crore for Robot and Kareena got whooping 6 crore for Heroine as she replaced Ash at the last moment.

Vidya Balan, however, the most sought after actress in Bollywood at the moment is being considered comparatively underpaid.
