Gurmeet Choudhary to play Lord Ram again

Popular TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary is coming back to playing Lord Ram again after a stint with disastrous film Wajah Tum Ho.

Gurmeet became household name while playing Lord Rama in popular show 2008 show, Ramayan. After that he acted in Geet, Punnar Vivah and other popular series. But it seems he has not done with playing Lord Ram.

Confirming the news, Gurmeet told a national daily, “Playing Lord Ram is a once in a lifetime opportunity and, thankfully, people were convinced with my interpretation of the divine character all those years ago. The character got me a lot of respect and has also taught me humility. Today, whatever I’ve achieved is because of this character. I believe Ram chose me in 2008 to express himself. Ram is a hero and it was a big challenge for me back then.”
