Pacnet Ties Up With Bharti Airtel and Launches International Gateway

Pacnet , the global telcom service provider, has announced the launch of its International Gateway in Chennai. The Company is planning to invest about $150 million to establish a data center in India in the next couple of years.

Pacnet has tied up with Bharti Airtel for setting up the gateway. According to Bill Barney, CEO of Pacnet, the new gateway would provide Indian business with access to international high speed broadband connectivity and a full suite of advanced communication solutions.

Barney said: “The launch of our international gateway is part of our plan to build our local presence and support India’s growth through the delivery of enhanced international connectivity and hosting solutions cross the country.”
