2015 has been extremely exciting especially for the technology world, 2015 saw the rise of the Chinese giants in the Indian market, the dominance of the Indian key players and a sort of fall for the global giants. Let’s take a look at the best phones of 2015 and what 2016 holds in store for us.
Best Phones under Rs. 10,000
CoolPad Note 3 : Rs. 8,999
The coolpad note 3 houses a 5.5 inch HD display, an octa core Mediatek chipset, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Surprisingly the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor too which is located at the back of the phone just below the camera. The camera is a 13 MP unit at the rear and a 5 MP one at the front.
Lenovo K3 Note : Rs. 9,999
The K3 note again houses a 5.5 inch FHD, an octa core Mediatek processor chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There is again a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. The K3 note doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor but has Dolby sound enhancements inbuilt.

OnePlus Two : Rs. 24,999
The OnePlus One marketed itself as the flagship killer and the OnePlus Two tried to continue its legacy but didn’t fare as well none the less OnePlus Two is a nice phone at a surprising price. A 5.5 inch full HD panel is adorned by the OPT at the front while on the inside a Snapdragon 810 octa core chipset powers the phone, there is 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. 13 MP camera at the rear with a 5 MP one at the front for all the selfies, the rear camera comes with a laser autofocus and OIS. There is also a finger print scanner on the front.
Lenovo Vibe Shot :
In the vicinity of Rs. 25,000 A camera trapped in a phones body that just about perfect to describe the Lenovo vibe shot. The whole sales pitch for the phone was made around it’s camera, the Vibe Shot comes with a 16 MP rear camera with manual mode which lets a user select all the settings the front too has a nice camera with a 8 MP sensor to back it up. Upfront there is a 5 inch full HD display panel while an octa core Snapdragon 615 runs the show along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage to store all those professional quality images.
Trend we saw in the budget and mid range segment is just an indication of what to expect in 2016 while a finger print sensor and 2 to 3 GB of RAM will become a staple in the budget segment the midrange segment will be more focused on improving the user experience and singular aspects to rope in a target audience like photographers in the case of the Vibe Shot.
