Mark Zuckerberg announces donating 99% of Facebook’s shares to charity

The Founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chanare going to donate 99% of their Facebook shares to a new charity.

The announcement comes in a letter format to their newly born daughter, Max, where Zuckerbergs promised to donate shares worth $45 billion to charity, aims to “advance human potential and promote equality.”

In the 2,220-word letter, titled ‘A letter to our daughter’, Zuckerberg and Chan spoke on issues like health, education, Internet access and learning before announcing their big step.
