Peter & Indrani grilled; latter confesses to the crime

Indrani Mukherjea’s husband Peter Mukherjea was interrogated by the Mumbai police for 12 hours late last night regarding the Sheena Bora murder case. Peter reached Khar police station this morning, where his wife Indrani too was brought in two hours later, and both were likely to be brought face-to-face for interrogation.

“Mukerjea was called again at the Khar Police Station today as we are trying to corroborate his statement with that of Indrani, with whom he co-founded INX Media,” a senior officer told PTI.

Indrani Mukherjea on Thursday, is also said to have confessed to the crime, according to a Times Now report. Indrani was questioned by the Mumbai Police, as she kept changing her statements quite often. Shortly after confessing initially, Indrani had taken a new track to say that Sheena was alive and living in the United States, in her recent statement to the Mumbai Police.

Indrani Mukherjea has been arrested on the 25^th of August and is since being interrogated in the thrilling Sheena Bora murder case, which got into limelight three years after the crime was committed.
