Small screen popular TV actor Karan Patel currently seen in Ye Hai Mohabbatien, tied the knot with fellow TV actress Ankita Bhargava on Sunday in a close-knit affair with only family and close friends. The preparations and Shenanigans began 2 days before, with sangeet ceremony held by the couple at the Novotel Hotel, Juhu.
The ceremony marked the presence of yesteryear actor Jeetandra accompanied with wife Shobha Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon, Prem Chopra, Rakesh Roshan with wife Pinky Roshan, actress Supriya Pathak who came down to bless the couple. TV stars like Karan Tacker, Krystle D’souza, Kishwer Merchant, and Roopal Tyagi among others were also present at the party.
Karan was looking handsome blue bandhgala and his partner Ankita Bhargawa kept it simple, yet beautiful with beautiful orange and green lehenga.
The Sangeet ceremony witnessed actors performing on various dance numbers. The couple danced on Mere Rang Mein (Main Pyaar kiya) and Karan also recited a shayari was his would be wife. Aly Goni danced toTune Mari Entriyaan (Gunday) and Desi Boyz with Karan on stage.
The cast of Karan’s on-going popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein also performed except for his reel life wife Divyanka Tripathi because of her leg injury.
Currently seen playing a doting father and husband on the show the actor says, “This is the happiest phase of my life. Honestly, I hadn’t rehearse much for my sangeet, but yes, I was very excited for my dance performance. I have already been married twice on screen and so I am very much confident for my real wedding (laughs).”
