Asus Brings out the ZenFone 2

Asus unveiled the new range of ZenFones at the event held recently, we bring you all the things you need to know. The New ZenFone comes in 4 different variants with prices ranging from Rs. 12,999 to Rs. 22,999. The 4 variants launched by the Taiwanese giant include  ZE551ML (4GB RAM) with 64GB and 32GB inbuilt storage, ZE551ML (2GB RAM), and ZE550ML. The ZE551ML (4 GB RAM) is the top of the line having the mightiest of specifications of the lot, while the others are comparatively weaker. The ZE551ML comes in 2 variants and the only major difference being the internal storage, the ZE551ML comes with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options which can be further expanded with the help of a memory card, both the variants come with 4 GB of RAM. The ZE551ML with 64 GB of storage costs Rs. 22,999 where the 32 GB version costs Rs. 19,999. The ZE551ML (2 GB RAM) costs the consumer Rs. 14,999 and the ZE550ML costs 12,999.

The ZE551ML (4GB and 2 GB) comes with a 5.5 inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) IPS display which is protected by Corning’s Gorilla glass 3 the ZE551ML comes equipped with  a 64-bit 2.3GHz Intel Atom processor (Z3580), 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. The ZE550ML comes with a similar 5.5 inch display panel but with only HD (1280 x 720p) resolution, the screen again is protected by Gorilla glass 3. The ZE550ML as well as the ZE551ML (2 GB RAM) comes equipped with a 64-bit 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom (Z3560). All four handsets run on Android lollipop the latest iteration of the Android OS and have a custom UI skin over stock android, the skin Asus offers is called the ZenUI and is extremely pleasant and easy to use. All the variants have the option of memory expansion via a micro SD card and the memory can be expanded up to 64 GB.

All the variants pack a 13 MP rear camera with PixelMaster technology along with Dual LED falsh and a 5 MP front shooter for all the selfies one desires. The rear shooter offers a Super Resolution mode where the size of the image is bumped up to 52MP using software gimmicks. All the handsets come with a 3,00 mAh Non-Removable battery, offer dual sim support and come loaded with ZenMotion touch and gesture support.
