Two days before the deadline for the talks are to conclude, the foreign ministers of Iran met the six world powers, on Monday, in a terminal push for a preliminary nuclear accord. For days now, the six world powers viz. the USA, Britain, France, Germany, Russia and China have been in discussion with Iran, to break the nuclear deadlock which is gaining no fruitful results.
The six powerful nations have been seeking to break an impasse in negotiations aimed at stopping Tehran having the capacity to develop a nuclear bomb in exchange for an easing of international sanctions that are crippling its economy.
Talks resumed in Switzerland, earlier today as the Tuesday’s deadline approached. Limitations have been desired to be imposed on Iran’s nuclear weapon production, though it claims its nuclear program is peaceful and not at all harmful.
