After superb success of Xiaomi Redmi 1S, the company has announced that it will launch its first phablet in India on Monday. The Redmi Note will be priced anything between Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,999.
The Redmi Note might also be exclusively available on its official Indian partner Flipkart, from December 2m, following the same trend of selling every Tuesday at 2pm, where consumers had to register beforehand.
The Redmi Note comes with a 5.5-inch IPS-LCD display. The dual-SIM smartphone, weighs 199 grams, is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 SoC, combining Mali-450MP4 GPU. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. It has 8GB internal memory with expandable microSD card slot up to 32GB. It features 2GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note sports 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a secondary 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It has well connectivity through GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB with OTG, and GPS/ A-GPS.
The Redmi Note is powered by 3100mAh battery.
